Obama Health Care Reforms Passed

That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

Greetings Political Junkies,

As you have no doubt seen, heard or read the Obama Administration successfully passed a long awaited and often fiercly disputed reform package.  Even down here in sunny Australia – where health is being debated today at the National Press Club – the US reform bill has been heavily featured on the news cycle (alongside FAR more pressing matters such as Tiger Woods’ return to golf, and Michael Clark’s un-engagement to Lara Bingle).

Here are some links to related stories on the health care reform:

Good health to you all,

Grievous Bodily Charm

  1. OK WOW! Ummm after like 2 years I had the thought of checking up whether this was still running and am glad to see that, though some time ago, it’s still posting up news!

Will look forward to finding out about more of your thoughts about the current political scenario. The dictatorship in Pakistan is gone but the new ‘democratic’ govt is very busy in corruption. Im surprised the transparency commission only put the numbers at 34. Note when the PPP was last in govt, PAK was no.2 in Corruption— I feel sad and sorry for the poor nation— they get guided away by sentimental speeches too quickly.

Whats Obama doing in India? What about ‘barakabama’s ‘ re-election? I think he will make it through and get re-elected because so far I see no real leader against him so far. Very few seem remotely impressive. Maybe the School Professor realises how hard it was to change the policy that he promised in 2008— and admitted the shalacking?
Uk’s highly conservative stance is haunting…. however it was only expected of the CP.
