Barrack Obama has won the support of Mississippi Democtratic voters overnight after edging out Hillary Clinton. Is this because of the large proportion of African-American voters that reside there? According to one Clinton supporter (and former Democratic Vice-Presidential hopeful), Geraldine A. Ferraro, Obama would not be leading the delegate count if he were white or female. According to the Washington Post ‘Obama called the statement “patently absurd,” while Clinton dismissed it as “regrettable,” saying she thoroughly disagrees with Ferraro’s sentiment.’

I’m sceptical about how his chances are damaged by ‘neutral’ Republicans voting tactically now McCain is through. Apparently that’s a major reason why Hillary won Texas and Ohio because the republicans see her as ‘unelectable’ come the general election.
