Things are looking up for Clinton – CNN and Others Project wins in Texas and Ohio

obama-clinton.jpgThis Editor has warmed up the oven and greased the tin in preparation of possibly having to eat some humble pie.  CNN and others have projected a win for Hillary Clinton in Ohio and Texas, keeping her campaign for the US Democratic Presidential nomination alive.  Barack Obama is projected to take the smaller states of Rhode Island and Vermont to remain in front but with a reduced margain.  While the oven is merely pre-heating, I stand by a comment from my previous post about the absurdity of claiming momentum after 11 straight losses to Obama.  Things are certainly looking up for Clinton at this stage – again adding to the intrigue of this exciting nomination battle!

Republican John McCain has now become the Republican candidate as his remaining rival Mike Huckabee finally withdrew from a very distant second place and pledged his support for Senator McCain.
